Included in the residential sanitation fee, which the city sets at $235.00 per unit per year, the equivalent of $19.59 a month, collected as an ad valorem assessment on the property tax bill, and which covers two cubic yards of extraordinary waste each month. Anything over that volume is the property owner's responsibility unless arrangements are made and the excess waste fee is paid.
