Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named on the free special pickup list or in the brush site material list, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed with the Sanitation Department.

No published entry covers an exercise machine. Confirm with the Sanitation Department at 727-893-7398 whether the machine is collected free inside the three cubic yard furniture allowance or charged as material outside the list at 25 dollars and 65 cents per cubic yard.
When & how
Call before setting anything out, then place the machine where the address normally sets out its trash once the pickup is arranged.
Get it ready
Describe the machine and its size when calling, take the console or battery pack off so any electronics can go to the county centre or the free television and computer pickup route, and keep the frame out of the weekly container.
Free within the list, priced by the cubic yard outside it
The special pickup programme has a published free list with item maximums, and everything else is collected for a fee. Free: car batteries up to five, car tires up to five, doors up to two, empty 20 pound propane tanks up to two, furniture, carpet and appliances up to three cubic yards, kitchen cabinets up to two and windows up to two. Outside the list, the city charges 25 dollars and 65 cents per cubic yard for building materials, brush and large accumulations, and the Sanitation Department provides an estimate based on quantity so the fee can be confirmed first.

Cost & conditions
No charge. Free for city sanitation customers within the published list and its maximums, with material outside the list charged 25 dollars and 65 cents per cubic yard after an estimate. The free allowance groups furniture, carpet and appliances at up to three cubic yards.

Submit the request in SeeClickFix with a photo, or call 727-893-7398, confirm whether the items are free or need an estimate, and place them where the address normally sets out its trash.
Item maximums apply: five car batteries, five car tires, two doors, two empty 20 pound propane tanks, three cubic yards of furniture, carpet and appliances, two kitchen cabinets and two windows. Anything beyond those limits is charged by the cubic yard, and nothing may sit loose in the alley or on the curb before the pickup is arranged.

Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
