Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named in the Village's bulk trash list or in the Authority's accepted list, so the machine has to be confirmed with the Village solid waste office.
City cost & eligibility
No published amount covers an exercise machine and neither list read here names the category, so confirm acceptance with the Village Solid Waste Department at 561-791-4003 before the machine goes to the curb. If it is accepted it counts inside the four cubic yard bulk limit on the bulk collection day.
When & how
Call 561-791-4003 before setting the machine out, and if it is accepted, treat it as part of the weekly bulk pile placed out no earlier than 24 hours before the bulk collection day.
Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart and keep the loose weights with it, so the pile stays neatly stacked and inside the four cubic yard limit, and keep it clear of mailboxes and the automated container by at least three feet.

Use the weekly bulk trash collection
A household with furniture, a mattress, a major appliance, carpet, cut wood or up to four cubic yards of small repair debris.
Cost & conditions
No charge. Bulk trash is part of the Village collection at no separate charge, with up to four cubic yards accepted per household on the bulk collection day. A tagged non-compliant pile may instead be removed as is for a hauler fee of $9.00 per cubic yard.
Arrange it
Put the pile out no earlier than 24 hours before the bulk collection day, in front of the residence, neatly stacked and cut to less than six feet, at least three feet from mailboxes and the automated container.
Concrete and rock are not collected, vegetation from tree removal or land clearing is not eligible, loose items such as drywall and floor tile have to be containerized under 50 pounds per container, and a non-compliant pile is tagged and can be removed as is for the per cubic yard fee recorded with this option.

Dropcurb pickup starts outside. Arrange indoor carrying, stairs and any dismantling needed to get your equipment out before pickup. Check the moving instructions for your exact model and arrange suitable help. We load and haul away the equipment from an accessible outdoor spot.
Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.

The published examples are refrigerators, ranges, toilets, mattresses, carpet cut to four foot lengths and under 50 pounds, washers and dryers, water heaters, and wood cut under six feet with the nails removed. What yard waste will not be collected?+
Vegetation has to come from routine residential yard maintenance. Tree removal, limbs over ten inches in diameter, trunks, stumps, root balls, lot or land clearing vegetation, and anything needing wheeled or tracked machinery to remove are not collected, and residents have to arrange those separately.Official guidance
What is the $9.00 per cubic yard charge?+
It is the hauler's fee for removing a tagged pile as is, when a resident chooses not to correct a pile that does not follow the Village guidelines. The alternative is to fix the pile so it is collected on the next scheduled pickup day.Official guidance
