Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction, remodeling and demolition debris is refused both in the refuse container and on the bulk list, along with concrete, asphalt, wood, dirt, sod, rock and tires, so a project load has no city route at all.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction rate because it refuses the material in every collection stream, so a renovation load is arranged with a private hauler or container company that quotes its own price.
When & how
Arrange the container or haul directly with a private company, because there is no city collection day for construction material.
Get it ready
Keep construction, remodeling and demolition material out of the refuse container and off the bulk pile, and keep dirt, sod, rock, concrete, asphalt, wood and tires out as well so the household's regular service is not affected.

The handoff matters

Right item.

What is refused in every East Point collection stream

Dirt, sod, rock, branches and tree trimmings, metals, flammable material, oil, gas, paint, concrete, hot ashes and coals, tires, appliances and furniture are refused in the refuse container, and the bulk list adds propane tanks, construction, remodeling and demolition debris, asphalt and wood. Construction material has no city route at all, so it is arranged privately, and appliances and furniture move to the bulk appointment instead.

With a new purchase

Arrange construction and refused loads privately

A household with construction, remodeling or demolition debris or another load the city refuses in every stream.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no rate for material it refuses, so a private hauler or container company quotes the price for the load.
Arrange it
Contact a private hauler or container company serving East Point and arrange the pick-up or the container.

Nothing in this category rides the city account, and a household remains responsible for how the material is disposed of.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

East Point publishes no resident drop-off yard for bulky material, so everything moves through the city's own collection streams. Refuse goes in the container at the curb by 7:30 AM on the collection day and has to be bagged inside a covered can stored at the rear or side of the property between collections, recycling is collected bi-weekly on the same day, and anything bulky is booked as an appointment with Solid Waste Services at (404) 902-2650 rather than set out on the regular day. Single-family residents get two free bulk amnesty pickups a year, and after that the published rate applies, which is 35.00 for the first item and 10.00 for each additional item. The bulk list covers sofas, chairs, tables, desks, mattresses, washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves, lawnmowers and refrigerators, each subject to its own condition: Freon and the door out of a refrigerator, water drained from a hot water heater, gasoline and oil out of a lawnmower. Yard trimmings are limited to five feet in length and five inches in diameter, larger trimmings carry a minimum charge of 50.00 plus 10.00 per cubic yard, and grass clippings and leaves go in brown paper bags, cardboard boxes or a container no larger than 45 gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds. Construction, remodeling and demolition debris, concrete, asphalt, wood, dirt, sod, rock, tires, paint, oil, propane tanks and hot ashes are refused in every city stream, so those loads are arranged privately, and electronics have no published route at all, which means a television or computer is confirmed with the Solid Waste office before it leaves the house. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in East Point.

How much does construction debris removal cost in East Point?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in East Point?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Will East Point take construction debris?

No. Construction debris, remodeling debris, demolition debris, concrete, asphalt, wood, dirt, sod, rock, tires and paint are all refused, both in the refuse container and on the bulk list, and the city publishes no construction drop-off. A renovation load is therefore arranged privately with a hauler or container company.Official guidance

What does East Point refuse to collect?

Refuse may not contain dirt, branches or tree trimmings, metals, sod, rock, appliances, furniture, flammable material, oil, gas, paint, concrete, hot ashes or coals, construction, remodeling or demolition debris or tires. The bulk list adds propane tanks, asphalt and wood, and a larger yard waste pile over the size limits carries a minimum charge of 50.00 plus 10.00 per cubic yard after that.Official guidance
