Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction material is refused by the collection program no matter who generated it. The city states that construction and landscaping contractors, and any other contractor that generates waste, have to provide their own removal, while landscape material generated by the homeowner is acceptable.
City cost & eligibility
The franchise program collects no construction material from any generator, and the Henry County Recycle Center refuses construction materials and debris along with pressure treated wood, plywood, fence posts and landscape timbers, so no municipal or county rate exists for this material and it goes to a private landfill or transfer station arranged by the contractor or the household.
When & how
Arrange removal before the material is generated, because it is not collected on the garbage route and cannot go out on a bulk appointment.
Get it ready
Keep construction material separate from the bulk items, the yard waste and the carts, keep contractor landscape debris with the contractor, and note that the county center refuses paints and stains along with construction material.
Call GFL Environmental at 770-415-5386 or 770-474-9273 at least 24 hours before the scheduled day of service to be added to the bulk collection schedule, then put the items at the curb by 6:00am. Up to three items come off in one weekly service at no additional charge, a load over that in a single pickup becomes a special pickup with its own published fee, freon has to be removed from an appliance and the unit tagged with certification that it is empty, and construction material does not go out at all.
For a self haul to the Henry County Recycle Center
The center is strictly a drop-off site with no pickups and takes no trash, and it is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Separate the load before arrival, because furniture and mattresses are priced per piece and yard debris is priced by vehicle for Henry County residents who show a driver's license, while glass, tin cans, plastics number 1 and 2, aluminum, cardboard and paperboard, office paper, newspaper, batteries, motor oil, cooking oil, appliances and scrap metal are taken as recycling. Dishwashers, tires, paints, stains, styrofoam, plastic bags and construction material are refused.

Self haul to the Henry County Recycle Center
A household with a mattress, furniture, an appliance, scrap metal, yard debris or recyclables that it would rather drive over than schedule for curbside collection.
Cost & conditions
From $10 per piece at the Henry County Recycle Center for a baby or twin mattress, with a higher per piece price for a full or larger mattress, furniture priced per piece, and yard debris priced by vehicle, all as published on the county page. A private resident, and yard debris is taken only from Henry County residents who show a valid driver's license as proof of residency. The facility is strictly a drop-off site with no pickups, it does not reimburse or pay for recyclables, and yard debris is refused from commercial landscapers and contractors.
Arrange it
Drive the separated load to the center on a Tuesday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and take cardboard and paperboard to the baler under the green shelter up the hill, flattened and free of bags, wrap and packaging.
