Your place. One easy pickup plan.
A house, a condo or an apartment. Choose an accessible outdoor spot that works for your property. You arrange the move outside; we take it from there.
If a new mattress is arriving, check whether your retailer is taking the old one. If you need Dropcurb, choose a day when you can have it outside. A delivery window and a pickup day are different arrangements.

Arrange the trip outside.
Plan for doorways, elevators and interior stairs before pickup day. You arrange any indoor carrying. Use a permitted outdoor location and keep entrances and the walking path open.
3
Make the right mattress easy to find.
Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. Add a location photo and clear access notes so your hauler can identify exactly what is going.
You’re in the loop. Until it’s gone.
Confirmation when you book. A heads-up before arrival. Photos when it’s done.
Mattresses are not named on the county curbside, bulk, unacceptable or household hazardous waste lists, so the item has to be confirmed with the hauler.
City cost & eligibility
No county or city page names mattresses, and no per-item mattress price is published. Call Gwinnett Solid Waste Management at 770.822.7141, or the hauler on your account, and confirm whether the mattress counts as a bulky item inside the base fee before it goes out.
When & how
Confirm the item first, then schedule the pickup with your hauler or through the county request tool and put the mattress curbside before 7 a.m. on the collection day.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry, out of the recycling cart and clear of the unacceptable waste list, and note that household hazardous waste events do not take mattresses because they are not on the accepted list.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Gwinnett County solid waste haulers, with the City of Suwanee and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful
Use the county residential hauler service
A Suwanee household setting up weekly trash and recycling service with bulky item and white goods pickups included.
Cost & conditions
$24.14 per month as the 2026 residential solid waste and recycling rate, which already includes bulky items and white goods scheduled in advance with your assigned hauler. Residential customers in a Gwinnett County hauler service area, with a 25 per cent senior discount for households 62 and over, and the 2027 rate published separately.
Arrange it
Establish or change service through Gwinnett Solid Waste Management at 770.822.7141 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or by email, then schedule bulk or white goods pickups with the hauler for your area or through the county request tool.
The rate covers weekly trash and recycling with bulk and white goods pickups scheduled in advance, limited to two bulk or white goods requests a week, and the haulers cannot take the county's unacceptable waste list, which includes construction debris, chemicals, batteries, compressed gas cylinders, tires, treated wood and paint that has not been solidified.

Before you book
A few things worth knowing.
Mattress removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Suwanee.
How much does mattress removal cost in Suwanee?+
The price depends on the mattress size you choose. A queen mattress is $99 as the first item and $30 as an additional item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Add any box spring or frame separately, then review your total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I book same-day mattress pickup in Suwanee?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Have the mattress outside and accessible according to your confirmation. Your booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Is my box spring or bed frame included in mattress removal?+
The mattress price covers the mattress only. Add your box spring, bed frame or adjustable base separately if those are going too. Choose the size and type that match each item. The combined price appears before booking.
Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.
Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?+
You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
Will a Suwanee hauler take a mattress?+
Confirm it. Gwinnett County publishes a bulky item and white goods route inside the residential base fee, and a request tool with a limit of two pickups per week, but neither the residential page nor the household hazardous waste list names mattresses, and no per-item price is published. Call 770.822.7141 or the hauler on your account, and confirm whether the mattress counts as a bulky item before setting it out.Official guidance
Is bulky item pickup included in the residential service?+
Yes. The county states that the base fee includes weekly pickup of a 95-gallon trash cart and a 65-gallon recycling cart, and that the fee also includes pickup of bulky items and white goods as scheduled in advance with your hauler. The county request tool takes bulk or white goods pickups with a limit of two per week, and the published 2026 residential rate is 24.14 dollars a month, with a 25 per cent senior discount for households 62 and over.Official guidance
