At one of the three Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful recycling centers during its own published hours: the Rockford center on Hydraulic Road, the Machesney Park center on N. 2nd Street and the South Beloit center on Eastern Avenue.
Get it ready
Keep the device out of the garbage, because Illinois bans covered electronic devices from landfills and they are not collected curbside. Only intact electronics from residential consumers are accepted, so a device that has been taken apart, and any electronics from a business, are refused and need the appointment based commercial service instead.
