Get it ready
Bring the load sorted in a box or container rather than in trash bags, because unsorted or unsafe material is refused. Data storage devices are shredded or wiped by the county's vendor and a resident may destroy a drive before turning it in. Material is accepted only from county households, so a device dropped off by a business, a contractor or a hired cleanout crew is refused.
Appliances that still hold refrigerant, electronics, tires, batteries, dirt, rock, brick, cement, oil based paint, hazardous and medical waste and large metal pieces are refused in the bulk pickup, and the carts take no building material, contractor debris or pile of yard waste. Each of those materials has a separate route rather than a spot beside the cart.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Personal household electronics including computers, laptops, tablets, monitors without an antenna, printers and copiers, gaming systems, keyboards and mice, external drives, projectors, cords, vacuums and small kitchen appliances; refrigerators, freezers, mini refrigerators, dehumidifiers, chest freezers and small window air conditioners that are empty inside; televisions at a fee per unit; and household chemicals, paint, cleaners, used oil, antifreeze, fuels, car batteries, rechargeable batteries, car and truck tires, fluorescent and LED lamps, fire extinguishers and lawn and garden chemicals.

Unsorted material, trash bags, leaking or unsafe items and unknown waste are refused, chemical waste is limited to 200 pounds per residence per month, tires are limited to five per week and must be clean and free of water with racing, agricultural and bicycle tires excluded, alkaline batteries are not accepted, and mattresses, box springs, furniture, building material, lumber, yard waste, scrap metal and large workout equipment are refused.

Where do televisions and computers go?+
They go to the Hamilton County center at 1717 Pleasant Street in Noblesville, which takes computers, monitors, printers, gaming systems and peripherals from county households and charges a fee on each television.
