When & how
Submit the request through the city online form or call 311 on a weekday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and a pickup date comes back with the confirmation. Get it ready
Place the piece within two feet of the curb by 6 a.m. on the pickup day, keep it unblocked by vehicles and bins, and keep at least three feet of clearance from trees, fences, utility poles and overhanging limbs. Put it out no earlier than 24 hours before the scheduled date, keep it out of the trash and yard waste bins, and keep electronics, hazardous material, loose debris and anything with bodily fluids out of the load entirely.
