No electronics or television drop-off is published by the city or the contractor, so the route and the price have to be confirmed before anything is loaded.

No curbside collection is published for electronics or televisions, so no city or contractor fee applies. Ask the contractor at 985-781-3171, or a retailer or transfer station that states it accepts electronics, for its own acceptance rule and its own charge before the item is moved.
When & how
There is no collection day to plan around, because the curbside program does not take electronics. Call the contractor during business hours to ask what the city contract can arrange, and check the receiving site's own hours before a trip.
Get it ready
Wipe personal data before any handover, keep batteries out of the recycling cart, and confirm that the receiving site takes a television or a monitor rather than only small devices before loading a vehicle.
Bag the household waste, close the lid to within 6 inches of the top, and leave nothing beside the cart, because bagged items and loose items outside the cart are not collected. Put carts out the night before or by 5 a.m., within 3 feet of the curb and clear of vehicles, mailboxes, hydrants, poles and fences, with the handle facing the house and the lid opening facing the street. Round cans and cans with removable lids are not collected, and a recycling cart left at the curb on the garbage day is dumped as garbage.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Who collects garbage and bulky items in Slidell?+
Coastal Environmental Services collects for the City of Slidell, and the city's own Public Utilities page names it as the city trash company. Garbage runs twice a week on either a Monday and Thursday or a Tuesday and Friday pattern, recycling runs once a week, and bulky and green waste rides a separate grapple truck that works one side of the city at a time.
