$10 per voucher, for one drop-off visit. Rochester Hills residents only, and one voucher covers used electronic equipment up to 80 pounds, with another voucher needed for each drop-off above that limit. A printed voucher and photo identification are required, and the household is not a business.

Buy a voucher from the city Treasury or online, print it, schedule an appointment with SOCRRA, then take the equipment to 995 Coolidge Road in Troy between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday or 7 am to 1 pm Saturday, with no access after 3 pm.
Get it ready
Remove your own data from hard drives and memory cards before the drop-off, keep the equipment out of the carts, and check the current accepted list because bulky rigid plastics, plastic film, tapes, cassettes and discs are no longer taken.

Arrange it
Buy a voucher from the city Treasury at City Hall or through the city online payment page, print the voucher or receipt, schedule an appointment with SOCRRA, and bring the printed voucher with a driver licence to 995 Coolidge Road in Troy.
Appointment only, residents only and no businesses. Electronic confirmation on a phone is not accepted, the small share of latex paint and the material SOCRRA has stopped taking are refused, and there is no access to the drop-off center after 3 pm.

Used electronics such as televisions, monitors, computers, printers, fax machines, phones, stereos and CD players, and household hazardous waste such as oil based paint, motor oil, automotive batteries, pesticides, gasoline, household cleaners, oil paint, adhesives, paint thinner, furniture strippers, rechargeable batteries, compact fluorescent bulbs, 4 foot and 8 foot fluorescent tubes, LED bulbs, needles, old medication and cooking oil.
Appointment only and open to Rochester Hills residents, not businesses. A printed paper voucher bought from the city and photo identification are required, and a phone confirmation is not accepted. One voucher covers household hazardous waste up to 10 gallons or used electronics up to 80 pounds. Latex paint, unlabelled or unknown material, explosives, radioactive material, spill clean up waste and business waste are refused, and bulky rigid plastics, plastic bags and film, VHS tapes, cassettes, discs and their cases are no longer accepted.
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 7 am to 1 pm, closed Sunday, with no access to the drop-off center after 3 pm. All sites close on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The center answers at (248) 288-5150.

Where do computers, monitors and printers go in Rochester Hills?+
They do not go in the carts.
