Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction rate, and the route depends on the scale of the work and on whether a contractor generated the material, so confirm the arrangement with Public Works at 662-796-2489, option 1 or with a private hauler before the work starts.

Get it ready
Keep the material inside the weekly six cubic yard limit for a minor load, bag or contain loose debris, and remember that anything a tree crew, general contractor or other professional cuts, trims or removes has to be removed by the owner within seven days under Ordinance 7-15.
Under City Ordinance 7-15, in place since June 20, 2023, the city does not collect trees or similar items cut, trimmed or removed as part of non-routine maintenance or by any professional, third party or contractor, and the owner has to remove that material within seven days of the work being finished. Minor renovation debris may still go on the curb, but a larger scale renovation requires a construction dumpster or self removal.

Self haul in Southaven splits between the city and the county. The city's rubbish truck runs every route for boxes, limbs, bagged grass clippings, appliances and miscellaneous debris, with six cubic yards a week, limbs no longer than 4 to 5 feet and 12 inches in diameter, and bagged leaves, and it keeps to the same 6:00 A.M. curbside rules as the cart. Anything a contractor or tree crew cuts, trims or removes has to be removed by the owner within seven days under Ordinance 7-15, and minor renovation debris may go on the curb while a larger project needs a dumpster or self removal. Three streams leave the curb for DeSoto County: used car tires go to the County Maintenance Shop at 2339 Gwynn Road, electronics go to the County Rubbish Pit at 5255 W. Sandidge Road in Olive Branch, and household hazardous waste such as oil, gas, paint and warm ashes goes through the county's annual collection day, reached on (662) 469-8152, with the county environmental services office on 662-469-8023.
