The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Get it ready
Keep electronics out of the bulky pile and out of the recycling cart, clear personal data before handover, and bring proof of Forsyth County residency, since an attendant checks the driver's licence and asks for a short form. Regular trash, recyclables, ammunition, explosives, radioactive, medical or infectious and e-cigarette waste are refused at the EnviroStation, and an unlisted material should be phoned in before the trip.
The bulky cleanup refuses several categories outright
The city cannot collect construction materials, car parts, cement, electronic waste, glass, hazardous or infectious waste, lumber or wood, oil drums, paint, rocks, tires or yard waste on the bulky cleanup, and a pile that is mixed with unacceptable materials is not collected at all. Bulky items are collected only during the annual neighborhood cleanup, which is for single-family homes, and outside that week the city directs residents to the Hanes Mill Road Landfill at 325 W Hanes Mill Rd.
