Get it ready
Empty the unit and have it at the location the division asks about when the appointment is booked, since a scheduled white goods pickup is not the same as a routine cart set-out. Keep cooling appliances away from the household hazardous waste days, which do not accept them.
Every address gets a single trash and recycling day each week, and both are collected on that same day. When your scheduled day falls on a holiday, the pickup moves to the next day.
Out after 5 p.m. the day before, in by 7 p.m. on collection day
Carts and materials go at the edge of the lawn or the curb no earlier than 5 p.m. on the day before the scheduled collection and have to be brought in no later than 7 p.m. on the day of collection. Nothing may be placed in the roadway.
