Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Construction and demolition debris has no curbside route in Las Cruces and is priced by weight at the authority's self-haul sites. The published 2026 rate is per ton at the Amador Avenue and Chaparral transfer stations, with a minimum tip fee for a load, and the county landfill price is lower but is not offered to households.

City cost & eligibility
From $8.36 per load at the published 2026 minimum tip fee, with a flat rate of 17.02 dollars per load, 68.05 dollars per ton at the Amador Avenue and Chaparral transfer stations and 53.02 dollars per ton to dump construction and demolition debris at the Corralitos Landfill, and an untarped or unsecured load may carry an additional charge. Residential self-haul loads delivered to an authority transfer station, where the tonnage rate and the minimum tip fee apply by weight. Corralitos Landfill is not offered to households because the authority says access requires a solid waste account.
When & how
Take the load to the Amador Avenue Transfer Station at 2865 W. Amador, open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and expect the gate to weigh it. Nothing is collected from the curb, and the grappler day is for bulky household items rather than a demolition load.
Get it ready
Tarp or secure the load so the gate does not add an additional charge, keep dirt, rock and concrete in mind because they carry their own handling, and keep paint, chemicals and other hazardous material out of the load and on the household hazardous waste route instead.
Authority current service rates effective July 1 2026 with the 8.36 dollar minimum tip fee per load, the 17.02 dollar flat rate per load, 68.05 dollars per ton at the Amador Avenue and Chaparral transfer stations, 53.02 dollars per ton to dump at Corralitos Landfill, the asbestos, petroleum contaminated soil, special waste and sludge rates, the roll off pull rate, tire rates of 123.72 dollars per ton for bulk, 4.33 dollars per tire and 15.47 dollars for tires over 18 inches, construction and demolition debris at 53.02 dollars per ton at Corralitos, and the curbside and commercial recycling ratesAuthority Amador Avenue Transfer Station facility page stating that residents needing solid waste drop-off services can bring their trash to the station and that the authority does not provide solid waste pickup services, together with the authority contact block at 2865 W. Self haul to the transfer station

A household hauling its own trash, bulky item or construction load that the grappler day does not cover.

Cost & conditions
From $8.36 per load at the published 2026 minimum tip fee, with a flat rate of 17.02 dollars per load and 68.05 dollars per ton at the Amador Avenue and Chaparral transfer stations, and an untarped or unsecured load may carry an additional charge. Residential self-haul loads delivered to an authority transfer station, priced by weight or at the flat rate. The Corralitos Landfill is not offered to households because the authority says access requires a solid waste account.
Arrange it
Take the load to the Amador Avenue Transfer Station at 2865 W. Amador, open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last customer at 4:45 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the last load at 3:45 p.m.

The authority does not provide household pickup itself, the landfill is not the household route, and a load that is not tarped or secured may cost more at the gate. Green and yard waste has its own size rules at the same site.

Use a county collection center coupon

A household closer to a county collection center than to the city sites, with a household load, green waste, e-waste or scrap metal.

Cost & conditions
From $5 for as a minimum for one punch covering a load up to 200 pounds and about half a cubic yard, with a full load at two punches from 200 to 400 pounds and a truck with side boards or a trailer at three punches from 400 to 600 pounds and one to two cubic yards, paid with coupons or punch cards sold in fixed denominations with no change given, and an untarped or unsecured load may carry an additional charge with tires limited to four a visit. County collection center users bringing residential material, with e-waste and scrap metal taken and fees or punch card stamps applied to household trash and green waste.
Arrange it
Buy a coupon or punch card before the trip, then take the load to the nearest of the eight county collection centers. Ask staff which line the load belongs in, because household trash, green waste, e-waste and scrap metal are handled separately.

Coupons come in fixed amounts and no change is given at the center, an untarped or unsecured load may carry a published additional charge, and tires are limited to four per visit. The center takes residential material rather than commercial loads.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Las Cruces.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Las Cruces?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Las Cruces?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

How is construction debris handled in Las Cruces?

By weight at a self-haul site rather than at the curb. The authority publishes a per ton rate at the Amador Avenue and Chaparral transfer stations, a lower per ton rate to dump construction and demolition debris at the Corralitos Landfill, a flat rate per load and a minimum tip fee, all in the 2026 schedule. The authority says the landfill needs a solid waste account and is not for residential drop-off, so a household load belongs at the transfer station.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Las Cruces?

The Las Cruces Utilities Solid Waste Department provides residential trash and grappler service for city households through the South Central Solid Waste Authority, which supplies the containers and runs the drop-off sites. The authority oversees curbside recycling inside the city limits with a 96 gallon cart collected every other week, and cart requests go through customer service at 575-541-2111. The authority office is at 2865 W. Amador and answers at 575-528-3800.Official guidance
