City cost & eligibility
City residential service is normally $8.75 per dwelling unit monthly, billed with water; qualifying homestead customers receive a 50% reduction. This is the account rate. Confirm any item-specific charge with 311.
When & how
Use your regular collection day during the first full week of the month. Submit a 311 bulk request at least 24–48 hours ahead and confirm the date, including holiday changes.
Get it ready
Wrap mattresses and cloth furniture in plastic. Describe each piece, including a box spring or oversized section, when requesting collection.
At City-served homes, the allowance is three eligible bulk items total during monthly bulk week. Use the curbside area between curb and sidewalk or the property line. Do not put bulk in front of or against carts; follow the arrangement confirmed through 311.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Household couches; confirm plastic wrapping for upholstered pieces.
Cleveland resident household drop-off, up to four visits per year and four cubic yards per visit. Trailers cannot exceed four by eight feet. Confirm accepted material, residency documents, remaining visits and unloading arrangements before loading. Confirm unusual or powered furniture before traveling; keep appliances, electronics and project debris separate.
Saturday, 9am–3pm for regular waste disposal. Monday–Saturday 9am–3pm is the separately listed recycling schedule; confirm the receiving day for your load.

How do I book a sectional for removal?+
Open Sectional in the sofa choices, count its structural sections, and select any sleeper or reclining feature. Count the sections with their own bases, not loose cushions. The matching catalog choice covers one complete sectional of that configuration. Text a photo before booking if you are unsure.
Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
Do mattresses and cloth couches need wrapping?+
