Filled bags and boxes
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard and containers
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Furniture and other larger items
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Euclid collects bulk and large items on the resident's regular scheduled trash day, without a separate appointment, as long as the item is prepared the way the city requires.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses that receive city curbside collection under the Kimble Companies contract, with the item set out on the normal collection day and prepared to the city's published rules.
When & how
Put the item out on the tree lawn with the regular collection set. Cans and items can go out after 6 p.m. during daylight saving time or after 4 p.m. in standard time on the day before collection, or before 7 a.m. on the collection day, and the city says it enforces the earlier set-out restriction with a fine.
Get it ready
Prepare the item so one crew can lift it safely. Remove the door from any appliance that seals shut, seal upholstered pieces and bedding in plastic, and keep loose parts bundled and tied rather than bagged in paper.
Sofas, chairs and other upholstered furniture are collected as large items on the regular trash day, but upholstered pieces have to be completely sealed in plastic before they go out.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection, with the upholstered piece put on the tree lawn on the regular collection day.
When & how
Set the piece on the tree lawn with the normal collection, and do not leave it out ahead of the allowed set-out window.
Get it ready
Wrap the entire piece in plastic sheeting, a drop cloth or a shower curtain liner and seal it with duct tape so nothing is exposed. The city applies the same sealing rule to bundled carpeting, and it asks that mattresses and box springs be double wrapped and sealed.
Euclid collects mattresses and box springs on the regular trash day when they are double wrapped in plastic and sealed with duct tape.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection, with the mattress or box spring sealed as the city requires and placed out in the allowed set-out window.
When & how
Book nothing extra: the mattress goes out with the regular trash day, on the same schedule as the rest of the set.
Get it ready
Double wrap the mattress or box spring in plastic and seal it completely with duct tape. Any plastic is acceptable as long as the item ends up sealed, which is why sheeting, drop cloths and shower curtain liners are named as options.
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, washers, dryers and similar large appliances are collected as large items on the regular trash day once the doors are removed.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection, with the appliance set out on the regular collection day and any sealing door removed.
When & how
Set the appliance out with the normal collection day. No appointment is needed, but the piece has to be prepared before the truck arrives.
Get it ready
Remove the door from any appliance that seals shut so nothing can trap a child or animal. Drain and dry anything that held water or refrigerant lines, and keep the appliance upright so it can be lifted.
Euclid's electronics route is a computer round-up rather than curbside pickup, and the city states that televisions cannot be accepted at that event.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residents dropping off computers and related equipment during the round-up months at the John A. Piscitello Service Center on Lakeland Boulevard. The city publishes no fee for the drop-off.
When & how
The computer round-up runs during the months of April and August, and the city states that computers and related apparatus can be dropped off at any time during those months.
Get it ready
Bring the computer and its related equipment to the service center. Leave televisions and monitors out of the load, because the city states that televisions cannot be accepted, and confirm with the service department how a television should be handled.
Euclid does not collect tires curbside. The city has run a scrap tire round-up at its service center instead, and that event accepts only passenger and light truck tires that are off the rims.
City cost & eligibility
The city states that tires will not be collected curbside and publishes no ongoing residential tire rate. Its round-up listing shows a September window at the John A. Piscitello Service Center on Lakeland Boulevard, while the refuse page carries the same round-up under an older year, so confirm the current dates with the service department before loading a tire.
When & how
Watch the city's community recycling events for the tire round-up dates and hours, and confirm the current year before making the trip.
Get it ready
Take tires off the rims and leave commercial, tractor and oversized tires out of the load, because the city limits the round-up to passenger and light truck tires.
Euclid takes lawnmowers and snowblowers curbside as large items once the fuel and oil have been drained, and the city asks that the item be marked to show that no flammable liquid remains.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection, with the equipment drained, marked and set out on the regular collection day.
When & how
Set the equipment out on the regular trash day with the rest of the large item load, after draining it completely.
Get it ready
Drain all gasoline and oil, then attach a visible sign stating that the flammable liquid has been removed so the crew can load it. Do not set out a mower or blower with fuel in the tank.
Euclid takes branches and brush with the regular garbage when they are cut into short lengths and bound, and bagged leaves and yard debris go in or beside the trash can rather than the recycling can.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection, with the material cut, bundled and sized as the city requires.
When & how
Branches and brush go out with the normal garbage collection rather than on a separate yard waste day. Material left by a utility crew after a storm is the homeowner's responsibility to dispose of.
Get it ready
Cut branches and brush into lengths between 3 and 4 feet, bundle them visibly, keep each bundle under 2 feet in diameter and under 50 pounds, and put bagged leaves and yard debris in the trash can or beside it on the tree lawn rather than in the recycling cart.
Cans and large items go on the tree lawn after 6 p.m. during daylight saving time or after 4 p.m. in standard time the day before collection, or before 7 a.m. on collection day. The city states that putting them out earlier violates its ordinance and carries a fine.
Upholstered furniture, mattresses and box springs have to be completely sealed in plastic and taped shut before collection, and the city asks that mattresses and box springs be double wrapped. Bundled carpeting follows the same sealing rule.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Euclid households with furniture, mattresses, appliances or other large items that are properly prepared and set out on the regular collection day.
Cost & conditions
No charge. Euclid residential addresses receiving curbside collection through the city's Kimble Companies contract, with the item prepared to the city's published rules. The city publishes no separate bulk item fee.
Arrange it
Set the item on the tree lawn with the normal collection, inside the allowed set-out window, with the preparation the city requires for that kind of item.
Tires are not collected curbside, televisions are not accepted at the city's computer round-up, and anything set out before the allowed window is a violation the city states it enforces with a fine.
Euclid handles almost everything through the regular curbside set, so the drop-off trips residents actually need are the city's own round-up events at the John A. Piscitello Service Center on Lakeland Boulevard. Computers go there during the April and August round-up, tires during the scrap tire round-up, and household hazardous waste during the published weeks, while televisions are specifically excluded from the computer event. Outside those events, the city points residents to Batteries Plus Bulbs in Mayfield Heights for batteries and bulbs, to a participating Take 5 location on Euclid Avenue for used motor oil, and to Lowe's or Home Depot for compact fluorescent lamps. Confirm current dates, hours and accepted material before loading, because the round-up dates on the city's pages have not all been updated to the current year. Televisions cannot be accepted at the computer round-up, the tire round-up takes only passenger and light truck tires with the rims removed, and latex paint is excluded from the household hazardous waste round-up because it is not hazardous. The city limits these events to residents and to household quantities.

How much does bulk junk removal cost in Euclid?+
A trash bag is $59 as the first item and $10 additional. A filled household box is $59 as the first item. Add your actual items and quantities to see the combined price before booking. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; any applicable sales tax is shown before payment.
Can you pick up bags of junk today?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the booked bags and boxes outside and accessible according to your confirmation. You receive pickup updates and completion photos; the booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time.
Do I count every object inside a bag or box?+
No. Count the filled bags or boxes using the matching choice. Books and media go in Filled household box; clothes, bedding and shoes go in Bag of clothes & bedding; packed toys have a Box of toys choice. Empty cardboard is separate, with individual empty boxes and bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Heavy, oversized or unusual contents need a photo review before booking.
Can you pick up a small loose pile of household junk?+
Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.
Can I book bags, boxes and furniture together?+
Yes. Select the bags and boxes, then add each larger item using its own catalog choice. The booking shows one combined price for the selected items. Move everything to an accessible outdoor spot before pickup; indoor carrying and sorting are not included. Keep anything you want to retain apart from the booked items and identify what goes in your photos and notes.

Large and bulk items are collected on your regular trash day, so they go out with the rest of the set. The city allows cans and items on the tree lawn after 6 p.m. during daylight saving time or after 4 p.m. in standard time the day before collection, or before 7 a.m. the day of collection, and it states that setting them out earlier is a violation with a fine attached.Official guidance

Yes. The city requires the doors to be removed on any appliance that seals shut before a large item is collected, and appliances are collected curbside as large items on the regular trash day rather than through a separate appointment.Official guidance
Where does an old television go if Euclid will not take it?+
The city's computer round-up accepts computers and related equipment in April and August but states clearly that televisions cannot be accepted. The public service page also points residents to a waste disposal guidelines page for approved drop-off locations, so confirm the current television route with the service department before putting one at the curb.Official guidance

Do Euclid large items need an appointment?+
No. Bulk and large items are picked up on your regular scheduled trash day as long as the item is put out properly, so there is no separate appointment or sticker. The city does enforce when the item goes out, and it states that setting cans or items out before the allowed window is a violation with a fine attached.Official guidance
What will Euclid not take at the curb?+
