Arrange it
The Montgomery County transfer and recycling facility is at 1001 Encrete Lane in Moraine, open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sunday. Household chemicals are accepted every Tuesday from 1 to 7 p.m. from March through October and on the first Tuesday of the month from 1 to 7 p.m. from November through February, under the green recycling canopy. Proof of residency is required and the gates close promptly.
Commercial household chemical loads are refused, items over 25 pounds or 15 gallons are refused at the chemical collection, and asbestos, explosives, pharmaceuticals, radioactive material and gas cylinders other than propane are refused. The electronics drop-off refuses large appliances, CDs and tapes, chemicals and packing foam. An open vehicle load has to be secured or covered.
