Universal waste, including paint, batteries, bulbs, cleaners and pool chemicals, is accepted only on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and only from residents, in original containers. From $5 for minimum car load charge for up to 330 pounds of household waste, with a pickup load up to 660 pounds charged at the higher minimum, pre-approved construction and demolition debris charged at the same per ton rate as weighed waste generated inside Lake County, appliances charged per unit, tires charged per tire up to six, and televisions and monitors charged per unit at the electronics drop-off. Loads delivered to the county facility at 2039 Blase Nemeth Road; waste generated outside Lake County is charged at a higher per ton rate plus additional generation fees, and the universal waste and roundup programmes are for residents only.
