Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

When & how
Ask Waste Management whether the machine rides the weekly bulk truck, and if it does, set it out by 7:00 A.M. on the collection day. Otherwise take it to the Lake County Solid Waste Facility during its weekday or Saturday hours.
Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it comes apart, take the console and any battery off so the electronics can go to the free residential electronics drop-off instead, tie down loose decks and handles, and keep the frame clear of the cart and the recycling bin.
Out by 7 a.m. on the collection day and back in the next morning
Material goes to the curb no later than 7:00 A.M. on the collection day and no earlier than 3:00 P.M. the day before, and cans and containers come off the curb before 7 A.M. the day after. Garbage, bulk items and yard waste arrive on separate vehicles that can come at different times between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and there are no callbacks, so a pile stays out until the right truck reaches it. A holiday that falls on a weekday pushes the whole schedule one day, while a weekend holiday does not.
A county trip has its own counters and its own hours
The Lake County Solid Waste Facility at 2039 Blase Nemeth Road in Painesville takes household waste by the load or by weight, runs free mixed recycling bins and a free residential electronics drop-off, charges per television and monitor, and takes tires without rims at six maximum per trip. Universal waste, including paint, batteries, bulbs, cleaners and pool chemicals, is accepted only on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and only from residents, in original containers. The scale house is open Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with holiday closures published separately.

Arrange it

A household with construction debris, a cleanout load, electronics, a television, an appliance, tires or anything the curbside bulk collection refuses.
Cost & conditions
From $5 for minimum car load charge for up to 330 pounds of household waste, with a pickup load up to 660 pounds charged at the higher minimum, pre-approved construction and demolition debris charged at the same per ton rate as weighed waste generated inside Lake County, appliances charged per unit, tires charged per tire up to six, and televisions and monitors charged per unit at the electronics drop-off. Loads delivered to the county facility at 2039 Blase Nemeth Road; waste generated outside Lake County is charged at a higher per ton rate plus additional generation fees, and the universal waste and roundup programmes are for residents only.
Arrange it
Drive to 2039 Blase Nemeth Road, Painesville, OH 44077 during operating hours, Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and use the drop-off building or the landfill face as the facility staff direct. Mixed recycling bins and the residential electronics drop-off are free, and the universal waste counter opens only on Saturdays.
Scrap tires are not landfilled and are limited to six per trip without rims, construction and demolition debris has to be pre-approved, the universal waste counter refuses propane tanks, gasoline, kerosene, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, ammunition, medical waste, butane torches, latex paint and PCB light fixtures, and holiday closures change the standard hours.
