Batteries, compressed gas cylinders, fluorescent bulbs, hazardous material, liquids such as paint, gasoline and used oil, tires and untreated medical waste are all refused, and an appliance with refrigerant needs documentation that a licensed technician removed it.
Household waste brought on a city landfill pass, with the pass presented as a QR code and the driver's license matching the name on it. Refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers and other Freon containing items are accepted with documentation that a licensed CFC technician removed the refrigerant.
