Items may go to the kerb a week early but must be in place by 7:00 a.m. on the assigned Saturday, and the crews make only one pass down each street, so a pile that is not ready is missed. Drivers will not carry debris from the house or wait while it is moved, poly carts are not collected, and a basketball goal or any personal property left at the kerb may be taken, with the city and OEMA not responsible. Brush, tree limbs, lumber, decking and fence panels have to be cut to four feet or less and bundled with rope or cord, flooring goes out in tied 4 by 4 bundles, stumps have to be cut to four feet by 12 inches, jacuzzis and pools have to be cut into 4 by 4 pieces, small material goes in containers, and empty cardboard boxes have to be broken down.
