Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Recology Ashland provides curbside collection of trash, recycling and green waste for residential customers, with different trash roll cart sizes and glass kept in its own bin.
Large loads can go to the Valley View Transfer Station, which prices by volume with a minimum charge up to a yard and a half and then a lower rate for each additional yard, or a household can call Recology for a bulky item collection that runs on Wednesdays with fees applying, or use the hauler's bulky item disposal event that is typically held in the spring.
A sofa, chair or rollaway bed is on the transfer station price list at ten dollars and seventy five cents each, and a household that would rather not haul it can call Recology for the Wednesday bulky item collection or use the spring bulky item disposal event.
Mattresses and box springs are accepted free at the transfer station, up to five a day, and bedding can also move through the Wednesday call-in bulky item collection or the spring bulky item disposal event.
Appliances are priced by whether they have a motor, with refrigerators carrying their own higher fee and water heaters listed separately.
Electronics come in free at the transfer station under Oregon E-Cycles, at seven items a day.
Project material is priced at the transfer station, with soil, concrete and rock far higher than ordinary trash and 10 or 25 cubic yard debris boxes available for a renovation.
Exercise equipment is not named on the operator's price list or in the brochure, so the load has to be confirmed as bulky material before it is hauled.
Green debris is charged at the transfer station during the year and accepted free on the city's two spring drop-off days.

Leave the spacing the brochure shows between the glass, blue, green and trash containers so the truck can reach each one, and expect a one day delay when service falls on or after Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
