Grants Pass relies on Oregon's E-Cycle programme for electronics. Televisions, computers, monitors, printers, keyboards and mice can be dropped at the local E-Cycle collection sites, with Southern Oregon Sanitation on Redwood Avenue named, and the city warns that other electronics are not accepted for free, so anything off that list has to be checked by phone first.

Get it ready
Wipe personal data from computers and phones, keep cables and remotes with the device they belong to, keep electronics out of the curbside carts and the depots, and call before bringing a device that is not one of the covered items.
Grants Pass residents receive weekly garbage collection and recycling from a franchised hauler, with cart sizes and rates set through the Solid Waste Agency. Neither hauler publishes a curbside bulky item service, so anything that will not fit the cart goes to a transfer station rather than onto the curb, and mixed loads at the station are charged as garbage until the stations say otherwise.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Asbestos, hazardous waste, infectious waste, liquids, medical waste, paint and radioactive waste are refused. Construction and demolition material is refused without an asbestos clearance certification from a certified abatement company, mixed loads are charged as garbage, tip trailers over five yards must be hand unloaded, and the minimum charge applies to every load even a small one.

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away.
