Recycling, glass, yard waste and garbage each have their own rules
All recycling has to be empty and dry, paper, metal and plastic go in the same recycling bin, and glass goes in a separate glass bin and never in the recycling bin, with missing bins coming from the garbage and recycling company. Yard waste collection is an urban service, motor oil goes next to the glass bin in a marked container with a screw-top cap holding two gallons or less for single-family customers, and ordinary garbage must be bagged.
