A mattress is named on the bulky waste day accepted list, and it can also leave on a bulky waste removal arranged with Republic Services, which the county says will quote a pickup even for a household that is not a customer.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. The city states there is no charge to dispose of accepted items at bulky waste day, which is open to Wilsonville residents who show proof of residence and runs at the transfer station on Ridder Road. The city asks participants to donate to Wilsonville Community Sharing instead, with donations collected on site. The separate hauler pickup route is quoted by Republic Services.
When & how
Bulky waste day runs on a Saturday in the spring and fall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a last load time set by the event, and the city calendar carries the current date. A hauler pickup is arranged by phone for a day the company sets.
Get it ready
Bring proof of Wilsonville residence and arrive before the last load time. Mattresses that go with a hauler pickup rather than the event are quoted and scheduled first, because the hauler route is a separate arrangement from the event.
The hauler runs garbage, recycling, yard debris and bulky removal
The city states that all of its solid waste collection and disposal services, including garbage, recycling and composting, are provided by Republic Services of Clackamas and Washington County, and that the same company provides bulky waste removal. Specialised recycling such as paint and hazardous waste is provided by Metro and other agencies rather than by the hauler.
The city and Republic Services hold the drop-off on a Saturday in the spring and fall, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Republic Services and WRI Transfer Station on Southwest Ridder Road, which is reached from 95th Avenue. Proof of Wilsonville residence is required and the city calendar carries the date.
Metro South Transfer Station at 2001 Washington Street in Oregon City is open daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from March through September and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from October through February, while the household hazardous waste facility at the same address runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The Clackamas County Transfer Station in Sandy runs Thursday to Monday with a last load time in the afternoon. All of them close for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day, and facilities may close during extreme weather.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Drop accepted items at bulky waste day
A Wilsonville household with a mattress, couch, appliance, television or computer that will not fit the cart and can be driven to the transfer station.
Cost & conditions
No charge. The city states there is no charge to dispose of accepted items at bulky waste day for Wilsonville residents who show proof of residence, and asks participants to donate to Wilsonville Community Sharing instead, with donations collected on site.
Arrange it
Bring the load to the Republic Services and WRI Transfer Station on Southwest Ridder Road between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the event Saturday, with proof of Wilsonville residence and the load ready to unload.
Construction debris of any type, propane bottles or canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, household garbage, car tires and yard debris are refused, and fuel and oils have to be emptied from gas powered equipment. The event runs only in the spring and fall, and the Rotary Club assistance for residents who cannot transport waste is capped at about thirty requests.

Arrange a bulky pickup with the hauler
A household that would rather not drive a large item to the transfer station, including one that is not a regular customer of the company.
Cost & conditions
No hauler rate is published, so Republic Services quotes the pickup when it is arranged. Clackamas County states that large appliances, furniture and other items can be collected by the franchised company even for a household that is not a regular customer.
Arrange it
Call Republic Services of Clackamas and Washington County, the city's contracted hauler, describe the item and arrange a quote and a pickup time.
The item has to be confirmed with the hauler, because the city publishes no accepted list for this route, and the bulky waste day list does not name exercise equipment at all. Household garbage, yard debris, construction debris, chemicals and tires are handled on different routes.

Haul the load to a county or Metro transfer station
A household with construction debris, a mixed load, or an item the bulky waste day refuses or does not cover.
Cost & conditions
The county lists the facilities with addresses and hours but publishes no fee schedule on the page, so confirm the current charge with the facility before the load is built. Metro South is listed at 2001 Washington Street in Oregon City and the county station is in Sandy.
Arrange it
Call the facility first to confirm hours and accepted materials, then deliver the load during published hours. The county asks readers to telephone each location ahead of a visit.
Transfer stations will not accept suspect asbestos containing material without testing and documentation, and construction, demolition and remodeling debris needs that documentation before disposal. Facilities may close during extreme weather and all close for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
Dishwashers, televisions, refrigerators, computers, monitors, stoves, dryers, water heaters, couches, mattresses, scrap metal, tables and chairs, and clean untreated wood on bulky waste day
Wilsonville residents only, with proof of residence required. Construction debris of any type, propane bottles or canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, household garbage, car tires and yard debris are refused. Fuel and oils must be emptied from lawn mowers and other gas powered equipment, and the drop-off is open to the public only for the event window.

A few things worth knowing.
Mattress removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Wilsonville.
How much does mattress removal cost in Wilsonville?+
The price depends on the mattress size you choose. A queen mattress is $99 as the first item and $30 as an additional item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Add any box spring or frame separately, then review your total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I book same-day mattress pickup in Wilsonville?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Have the mattress outside and accessible according to your confirmation. Your booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Is my box spring or bed frame included in mattress removal?+
The mattress price covers the mattress only. Add your box spring, bed frame or adjustable base separately if those are going too. Choose the size and type that match each item. The combined price appears before booking.
Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.
Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?+
You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
