Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction rate, only that a fee applies at the curb and that the landfill charge is based on the weight of the material delivered. Non-residents, businesses and landlords pay on the same weight basis, while city residents pay nothing for ordinary household waste. When & how
Either arrange the charged curbside pickup through Solid Waste on 806-378-6813, where the city notifies the resident of any applicable charge during scheduling, or haul the material to the Amarillo Landfill at 16250 Bezner Drive, open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last load accepted at 4:30 p.m.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the free bulky pile and off the brush sites, which take only organic landscape material. Separate the load before the trip, keep toilets, bathtubs, cabinets, doors, trim and carpet with the construction material because they are priced as such, and keep the load dry to avoid paying weight for water.
Most of the list is free, and construction is the exception
The free curbside list names tree limbs, large toys, furniture, appliances, metal, fencing, hot tubs, hot water heaters, mattresses and other large household items, and the landfill takes city residents' ordinary household waste at no charge as well. Two things break that pattern. Construction and demolition material is priced rather than free, with sheetrock, insulation, remodeling materials, garage doors, doors, carpet, trim, toilets, bathtubs and cabinets named as items that incur a cost for pickup, and the landfill accepting the same material with a weight-based fee even from residents. Tires are the other exception, since they cannot go in regular household waste and may be taken at the landfill with a fee subject to capacity.
Three free drop-off routes run alongside the pickup
Behind the curbside service, Amarillo runs three other free routes for the material it separates out. Landscape waste goes to the brush sites at 3401 Broadway and 3718 S Eastern, open Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, where only organic material such as brush, tree limbs, trunks, trimmings, grass, leaves and cacti is accepted and identification or a utility bill is required at the gate. Used oil, oil filters, tin and aluminum go to the Central Recycling Drop Off Center at SE 27th and Hayes, to 208 E Hastings behind Fire Station number 4, or to 6th and Western next to the water tower. Cardboard goes to the five KB Recycling sites at Medical Center Park on Streit Drive, the Downtown Library on SE 4th Street and the Southwest, East and North branch libraries. Household chemicals go by appointment to the Environmental Laboratory at 4001 S. Osage, scheduled on 806-342-1557.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
