Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Neither the city bulk page nor the hauler brochure names exercise equipment, so the item is not guaranteed at the curb. Confirm it with the hauler or the city at 972-218-1300, or plan on the paid special pickup or a drop-off load inside the twelve cubic yard allowance.

Get it ready
Describe the machine and its weight when asking, remove loose weights and pedals, and keep the machine out of the grey and blue carts. Keep it clear of the leaves and brush pile so the two streams stay separated.
Bulk runs every other month, on your side of Pleasant Run Road
Brush and bulk are collected every other month rather than every week. Households north of Pleasant Run Road are serviced in odd months and households south of it in even months, and the material has to be set out and ready by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the service week. A household that cannot wait can drop up to twelve cubic yards at the hauler's transfer station instead, with proof of residency.
Trash goes out bagged inside the grey 95 gallon cart, and recyclables go out empty, clean, dry and loose inside the blue 95 gallon cart, because bagged recyclables are refused. Carts stay at least three feet apart from each other and from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters and ditches, sit where the driveway meets the street with the wheels toward the residence, and have their lids closed.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Arrange it
Put the material out and ready by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the address's service week, which is an odd month north of Pleasant Run Road and an even month south of it.
Every other month only, and the acceptable list is specific: appliances, furniture, toys and yard tools tagged as bulk items, bundled carpet in four foot lengths, fence panels up to four by six feet, bagged leaves and loose brush. Construction and remodeling debris, household chemicals, tires, batteries and propane are refused, and a refrigerator or freezer must be tagged certifying removal of refrigerants.

Cost & conditions
No charge. Up to twelve cubic yards of bulky waste and brush at no additional cost for a Lancaster resident with proof of residency such as a current water bill. Charges apply to volumes above twelve cubic yards.

Drive the load to 2010 California Crossing in Dallas with the water bill, and weigh in at the site. The hauler's customer service runs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the city answers at 972-218-1300.
Twelve cubic yards free, with charges above that. The same prohibited items apply, so chemicals, tires, batteries and propane still belong at the Trash Off or X-treme Green events.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
