Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Construction material is named nowhere, while the private sites the city names take garbage and tree trimmings rather than renovation debris.

City cost & eligibility
No retained Missouri City page names construction or demolition material, and the private destinations the city lists are the BFI Blue Ridge Landfill for garbage and Living Earth Technology for tree trimmings, both charging fees that the city does not publish. Confirm with GFL on 281-403-5800 whether any of the load can ride the weekly bulky collection before arranging a private disposal route.
When & how
Confirm the route first, then either book the private site or arrange a hauler; nothing in the published weekly services covers renovation debris.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the recycling bin and the yard waste bags, and keep tree trimmings separate because the city's yard waste rules require biodegradable bags and brush bound under four feet and 40 pounds.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Two route patterns, one recycling day for the big items

Missouri City publishes two service patterns. Households with trash on Mondays and Thursdays have recycling, bulk and yard waste collected on Thursdays, and households with trash on Tuesdays and Fridays have them collected on Tuesdays, with everything at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Garbage itself runs twice a week, and the city's ordinance sets the service window between 7 am and 7 pm. The automatic front-loading trucks need the garbage and recycling bins at least 5 feet apart with the handles facing the house, and the monthly base rate that took effect on January 1, 2026 covers the whole package, including holiday tree pickup in January.

What the weekly bins and bags take

The commingled recycling collection takes plastics, all metal cans, all cardboard, glass and paper or paper cartons every week, with containers rinsed and cardboard flattened and pizza boxes left out of the bin. Yard waste has to go into heavy-duty biodegradable lawn and leaf refuse bags that will not break when lifted, and anything in a regular solid waste bag is collected as trash instead. Brush has to be securely bound and no longer than four feet or 40 pounds. Yard waste and recycling ride the same day as the bulky collection.

The city's named destinations for everything else

The Missouri City Recycling Center beside the City Hall complex closed in 2016, and the city now names outside destinations for material the curbside programme does not take. The Fort Bend County Recycling Center at 1200 Blume Road in Rosenberg accepts glass, scrap metal, paper, plastics, styrofoam, antifreeze, car and truck batteries, oil filters, used motor oil, cooking oil and rechargeable batteries free of charge, and takes electronics for a fee, with questions on 281-633-7581. Garbage can go to the BFI Blue Ridge Landfill at 2200 FM 521 Road in Fresno on 281-835-6142, tree trimmings can go to Living Earth Technology at 1503 Industrial Drive for a fee on 281-499-5641, cell phones can be dropped at four city lobbies, and Missouri City Green hosts electronics events about twice a year.

With a new purchase

Use the private sites the city names

A household with garbage to tip, or tree trimmings that the weekly yard waste bag limit cannot cover.

Cost & conditions
Both sites are private businesses and the city publishes their addresses and phone numbers without rates, so ask for the current fee when you call.
Arrange it
Call the BFI Blue Ridge Landfill on 281-835-6142 for garbage or Living Earth Technology on 281-499-5641 for tree trimmings and confirm before hauling the load.

Neither site is described as taking construction or demolition debris, and tree trimmings carry a fee.

Arrange a private hauler for renovation debris

A household or contractor with construction and demolition debris that no published city route covers.

Cost & conditions
Missouri City publishes no construction rate and no city drop-off for renovation debris, so the price comes from the hauler or the receiving site.
Arrange it
Book a licensed hauler or ask GFL on 281-403-5800 whether any part of the load can ride the weekly bulky collection, and confirm where the load is going.

Nothing in the published weekly services covers renovation debris, and a hauler load still has to reach a permitted site.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self hauling in Missouri City means leaving the city route and using one of the destinations its own pages name. The Fort Bend County Recycling Center at 1200 Blume Road in Rosenberg takes glass, scrap metal, paper, plastics, styrofoam, antifreeze, car and truck batteries, oil filters, used motor oil, cooking oil and rechargeable batteries free of charge, and accepts electronics for a fee, with questions on 281-633-7581; neither the fee amount nor the hours are printed on the city page, so call first. Garbage can be taken to the BFI Blue Ridge Landfill at 2200 FM 521 Road in Fresno on 281-835-6142 and tree trimmings to Living Earth Technology at 1503 Industrial Drive on 281-499-5641 for a fee. Cell phones have their own drop-offs in the City Hall lobby at 1522 Texas Parkway, the Municipal Court lobby at 3845 Cartwright Road, the Police Station lobby at 3849 Cartwright Road and the Parks Maintenance Facility at 1523 Texas Parkway, and Missouri City Green hosts electronics collection events about twice a year. The city's own recycling center beside the City Hall complex closed permanently in 2016, so there is no municipal drop-off left. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Missouri City.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Missouri City?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Missouri City?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Missouri City?

There is no published city route for it. The retained pages name the BFI Blue Ridge Landfill at 2200 FM 521 Road in Fresno for garbage, phone 281-835-6142, and Living Earth Technology at 1503 Industrial Drive for tree trimmings at a fee, phone 281-499-5641, but neither is described as taking renovation debris and no construction rate is published. Call GFL on 281-403-5800 first and expect to arrange a private disposal route.Official guidance

How should the bins be placed?

The garbage and recycling bins have to sit at the curb at least 5 feet apart from each other with the handles facing the house, so the automatic front-loading trucks can service them, and materials should be out by 7 a.m. Yard waste goes in heavy-duty biodegradable lawn and leaf bags rather than regular trash bags, and brush has to be bound and kept under four feet and 40 pounds.Official guidance
