Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Home electronics are on the accepted bulk list. The city names microwaves, televisions, cables, crock pots and space heaters, so screens and small appliances leave through the bulk drop-off rather than the rubbish cart.

Get it ready
Wipe personal data from computers, televisions and phones before disposal, remove batteries from anything battery powered, and load the items yourself because staff cannot handle tailgates or trunks.
Solid Waste staff cannot open or close a vehicle tailgate, lift gate or trunk, so residents load and unload their own bulk material at the drop-off. Remove fuel, oil and batteries from outdoor equipment before it goes in the load.
