The cleanup after the work

The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and remodel material

Not on the regular city route

The city states that construction debris, bricks and concrete are never put out for collection, and the station refuses concrete as well.

City cost & eligibility
Construction debris, bricks and concrete are refused by the collection rules and by the Residential Collection Station, so disposal has to be arranged privately and the operator taking the load sets its own charge.
When & how
Arrange the private route before the work starts so the material has somewhere to go.
Get it ready
Keep construction material, bricks and concrete out of the cart, the brush pile and any station load, because both published lists refuse them.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Pharr households have two published places to take material the cart will not hold. The Residential Collection Station is open to city residents only, refuses concrete and hazardous waste, and charges one dollar per cubic foot, with hours Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, and the department can be reached on (956) 402-4350 for directions. The Pharr Recycling Center on the same contact takes paper, metal, plastics one and two, used motor oil and filters, used tires from city residents, and hazardous waste such as antifreeze, paint and batteries once a year by prior call, with citizen drop-off areas at 1015 E Ferguson Ave and 7101 S Cage Blvd open around the clock. Construction debris, bricks and concrete are never collected at the curb and are not accepted at the station, so that material needs a private landfill or container service. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Pharr.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Pharr?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Pharr?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go out for collection?

No. The city's collection notice states in capitals that construction debris, bricks and concrete must not be placed out for collection, and the Residential Collection Station refuses concrete as well. A private landfill or container service has to take the material.Official guidance

Where do couches, mattresses and appliances go?
