Get it ready
Keep electronics out of the garbage cart and out of the recycling bins at the drop-off sites, because the recycling center's published list covers paper, metal, plastics one and two, used oil and tires rather than televisions or computers. Confirm the item before loading a screen into a trailer.
The cart takes weekly household trash only, so other household material goes to the Residential Collection Station and tires go to the Recycling Center.

Businesses are not eligible at the station, concrete and hazardous waste are refused there, and tires are accepted only from city residents at the recycling center.
When & how
Take household material the cart will not hold to the Residential Collection Station, open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, or the tires to the Recycling Center on the same hours.
Get it ready
Check the item against the collection notice before it goes out, because tires, batteries and refrigeration units are refused unless a refrigeration unit is properly tagged for freon removal. The recycling center accepts paper, newspaper, books, magazines, cardboard, tin, aluminum cans, metal piping, broken metal car parts, used motor oil and filters, and plastics one and two as well.
The Waste Management cart goes to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the weekly collection day, and only trash inside the cart is picked up. Extra bagged trash needs a Waste Management overflow bag bought at City Hall and set beside the cart.
The city is divided into four sections and one section is serviced each week within a set month. Brush goes at the curb or in the alley for your section's week, loose grass and small clippings have to be bagged, and nothing may be placed on an empty lot or left inside the property.
The Residential Collection Station is open to Pharr residents only and not to businesses, refuses concrete and hazardous waste, and charges one dollar per cubic foot. Its hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, closed Sunday.
Construction debris, bricks and concrete must not be placed out for collection, and tires, batteries and refrigeration units are not collected unless a refrigeration unit is properly tagged for freon removal. Hazardous waste such as paint and antifreeze is only taken at the recycling center once a year.

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup.
