When & how

Box or bag small items, keep each pickup within 3 cubic yards, keep the pile clear of mailboxes, parked vehicles, trees and utility lines, and cut carpet into 4 foot strips weighing under 35 pounds with no more than four rolls in one pickup.
Garbage is collected once a week and recycling and green waste every other week on the service route, carts are serviced between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., the arrows on the lids point toward the street, carts sit 3 feet apart and clear of mailboxes, parked vehicles, trees and utility lines, and carts go back to the house or behind a fence by 9 p.m. on the service day. Recycling and green waste go in loose with no plastic bags, extra recycling fits in up to three small cardboard boxes and extra yard waste in up to twelve paper bags set out with the cart.
