Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction, remodeling and demolition debris is refused in the bulky collection and excluded from the free residential landfill load, so it moves as a paid load or a private arrangement.

City cost & eligibility
There is no curbside route for construction material. The bulky service lists construction, remodeling and demolition debris as an item it does not collect, and the landfill's free monthly residential allowance excludes any remodeling, demolition, building or roofing material, so the load goes to the landfill as a paid load, where a load from outside Temple pays a minimum of 55.37 dollars plus a 0.94 dollar state fee, or through a roll off.
When & how
The landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through October 31, 2026, and Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. from November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027, closed Sundays.
Get it ready
Cover and tarp the load before the trip because the landfill assesses a fee on an uncovered load, wear a safety vest on site, and bring identification showing where the waste was generated. Keep debris out of the brush and bulky piles, because a mixed pile is not collected.

The free landfill load has exclusions

A Temple resident with a pickup load or less of general household cleanup brings a current water utility bill showing the residential garbage rate for one free dump a month. The allowance excludes mattresses and any remodeling, demolition, building or roofing material, and anything larger than a pickup load, and every load must be covered and tarped with a safety vest worn on site.

Bulky drop off events at the Solid Waste Complex

A household with a bulky load to drop in one trip rather than wait for a scheduled pickup.

Cost & conditions
The events are published on the city holiday and events schedule without a published fee for a bulky load, so call the Solid Waste Division at 254-298-5000 to confirm what the drop off accepts and whether anything is charged.
Arrange it
Bring the load to the Solid Waste Complex at 2611 E. Ave. H on Saturday, April 18 or Saturday, September 19, which are the 2026 bulky drop off dates listed with the city schedule.

The same item limits that apply to the curbside bulky service are the published ones, so confirm before loading anything that the service refuses, including construction debris, appliances and glass.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Temple keeps the household routes on the curb and puts the hard items on a calendar. A household schedules one brush pickup and one bulky item pickup a month through 254-298-5000 or ttxconnect.com, with the pile out by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the collection week and brush kept in a separate pile, and each pickup covers up to six cubic yards. Everything the bulky service refuses moves to the Solid Waste Complex at 2611 E. Ave. H: the city holds a household hazardous waste collection event there on Saturday, October 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. that takes electronics, chemicals, batteries and tires, with the first four tires 17 inches and under free and the larger or additional tires charged, and motor oil, cooking oil and water based paint are accepted there all year during business hours. Brush can also be dropped at the complex year round. General household cleanup can go to the Temple Landfill at 706 Landfill Road, where a resident with a current water utility bill showing the residential garbage rate gets one free dump a month for a pickup load or less, excluding mattresses and any remodeling, demolition, building or roofing material, with the load covered and tarped and a safety vest worn on site. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Temple.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Temple?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Temple?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Temple?

Not into the bulky pile, which refuses construction, remodeling and demolition debris. A project load goes to the Temple Landfill at 706 Landfill Road as a paid load, because the free monthly residential allowance excludes remodeling, demolition, building and roofing material, or into a roll off arranged through the Solid Waste Division.Official guidance
