Electronics are refused on the bulky collection and cannot be landfilled. The township points residents to its Recycle Right widget for a recycling option, and the county facility that takes electronics for a fee serves Montgomery County addresses only, so the route has to be confirmed for a given address.

The township publishes no electronics drop off of its own: the bulky page refuses televisions and computers and sends readers to the Recycle Right widget for a local option, while Montgomery County Precinct 3 accepts electronics for a fee from Montgomery County residents only and Harris County's household hazardous waste site does not list electronics. Confirm the current site and charge with township Environmental Services on 281-210-3800 or the Recycle Right widget before loading a set.

Get it ready
Wipe the personal information off computers, phones and smart televisions before anything leaves the house, keep cables and remotes with the device, and keep electronics out of both carts and off any bulky pile, because they are refused there and cannot be landfilled.
Trash, recycling and yard trimmings all go out by 7 a.m. on the weekly service day, with clear access for the trucks and the trimmings at least four feet from the carts. Trash stays in the green-lidded cart and recycling in the yellow-lidded cart, clean, dry, empty and loose with cardboard flattened, and Waste Management answers a green tag violation on the next service day rather than returning.
The Woodlands spans Harris and Montgomery counties, so the drop-off options split. The township recycling center and the battery box at Central Fire Station serve residents directly, Montgomery County Precinct 3 takes electronics, tires, scrap metal and construction material for a fee from Montgomery County addresses, and household chemicals go either to the Precinct 3 collection on Wednesdays and the third Saturday or to the appointment only Harris County site at 6900 Hahl Road in Houston.
