Extra bags of trash never count as bulky waste either. Freon appliances, glass, tires and paint go to the Cobbs Recycling Center for a fee, and a household there is limited to four free bulky and brush trips a year at no more than eight cubic yards each.
From October 2026 yard waste may go in the gray cart with the weekly trash, in up to twenty paper bags collected by request up to twice a month, or be dropped at Cobbs or the landfill up to four times a year at no additional charge, and brush follows the same two options. Green yard waste carts may be kept until October 1, 2027 as an additional gray cart at no charge, and from October 1, 2026 a holiday week slides the pickup day one day later rather than earlier.
