West Jordan contracts with ACE Disposal for weekly garbage and recycling, and the City adds its own drop-off and container programs on top. Three free Dumpster Days each year let residents unload general waste and green waste at the Public Works yard, residents with an active garbage account can reserve a temporary dumpster, and a seasonal can covers yard trimmings and household waste from early April through late November. Anything those programs refuse goes to the Trans-Jordan Landfill, the regional site the City points residents to.
