South Jordan residents can schedule a Special Service Pick-up for $15. Debris must be bagged/boxed and limited to a 5x5x5 pile or one to two large items. Tires, batteries, concrete, household hazardous waste, and e-waste are excluded from this city service.

Layton utility customers use city-coordinated WM service for weekly trash and optional recycling, with bulk item scheduling handled through Utilities at (801) 336-3860. Wasatch Integrated Davis Landfill in Layton charges in-district small-load flat fees ($10) plus item surcharges like mattresses ($15), refrigerators ($15), and tires ($4 each), with an extra $10 for uncovered loads.

Millcreek is served by Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) for weekly garbage and recycling. WFWRD notes many residents use an annual landfill voucher or reserve a trailer for bulky waste, and city recycling guidance highlights add-on program fees such as a $70 startup for green waste with $126/year service and $234/year for an additional black can.

Herriman is served through Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District programs. Herriman City notes spring cleanup now runs through WFWRD seasonal container scheduling by zone in May, while the city fall cleanup event requires a postcard, proof of residency, and limits entry to two loads per residence with multiple prohibited items.

Taylorsville sits inside the Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) — garbage and recycling carts roll every Thursday, but furniture and other bulk items are explicitly off-cart. WFWRD offers three off-cart pathways instead: a rotating Neighborhood Cleanup Trailer per street (set window per neighborhood), a Reserve-a-Trailer program coordinated through 604 W. 6960 South in Midvale, and a free Landfill Voucher to Salt Lake Valley Landfill or Trans-Jordan Landfill. Apartment-complex residents are not served by WFWRD cart pickup at all.

Eagle Mountain utilities include standard garbage service, but city code limits set-out timing to the evening before collection and before 7:00 a.m. on pickup day. For hazardous materials, Utah County directs residents to county waste stations and HHW channels rather than curb carts.
