Taylorsville leaves collection to the Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District, which charges one adopted monthly fee for a garbage can and a recycling can collected every week on Thursday. Anything outside that pair is priced: the district runs a specialty curbside collection with a base pickup rate plus a fee for each mattress, tire or appliance, and furniture is not accepted on it at all.
