Included with the residential collection service for a city address that receives Public Works trash collection and reserves the day through ReCollect, limited to five bulk items per reserved day. The service is billed at the city's published residential rate of 22 dollars a month, so the collection itself carries no separate per-item charge.
When & how
Book the day on the city's ReCollect page by 12 pm on the business day before the pickup. Bulk and yard debris are collected on the same day as the regular trash route, and Friday routes moved to Wednesday when the January 5, 2026 schedule took effect.

Reserve first, then set the item behind the curb on the reserved day only. Keep bags of regular trash, regular recyclables and cardboard that can be broken down out of the pile, because none of them is a bulk item.

Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
