Match the dresser’s overall size. Add a separate dresser mirror as its own item if it is leaving too. Empty drawers and keep the belongings you want before moving the dresser outside.
Desks and bookshelves
Choose by construction, not height alone. A basic desk is different from a heavy desk with a substantial body. A tall, lightweight bookcase can still be a standard bookshelf. Empty it first.

Keep the piece whole and liftable, keep it clear of cars, mailboxes, poles and trees, and remember that swing sets are on the restricted list so a play set has to be handled differently from ordinary furniture.
Up to three bulky items go at the curb in front of the residence each week, with furniture and mattresses as the city's own examples, and bagged or boxed trash does not count as bulky outside the November to December leaf bag season. Brush that cannot be lifted into the cart forms a curbside pile, never in an alley, roughly one pickup truck load a week, no larger than six feet by six feet by six feet, with limbs under three inches in diameter.
Acids, car parts, construction materials, explosives, heavy metal, manure, rock, swing sets, asphalt, caustics, dead animals, fencing, hazardous materials, large glass, sheet rock, topsoil, brick, concrete, dirt, grease, lumber, poisons, stumps and trees are all on the city restricted list. The brush rules add railroad ties, landscaping ties, treated lumber and brush cut by a contractor, tree company or utility company to the list of material that has to be handled another way.

Is a couch collected with the trash?+
