Remove latched doors or secure them tightly with rope or tape as instructed for this category. Cover the appliance on rainy days.
For a single-family home, have approved items out by 7am on the confirmed collection day. Use a flat, level place without stairs that is accessible from the street. The driver cannot unlock gates or use building fobs.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Household furniture, mattresses, garbage and accepted residential appliances.
Secure the load. No commercial appliances or household hazardous waste. Refrigerators must be empty with doors removed. TVs, monitors and other excluded electronics need a separate recycler; check oversize loads first.
Daily 8am–5:30pm, except the first Wednesday opens at 10am. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and July 4.
Garbage uses a minimum and weight-based rate. Appliance-only loads and appliances mixed with other material have different charges; confirm the load against current rates.

Can you take a washing machine and dryer in one pickup?+
Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+
Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Use a qualified professional for gas, hardwired or plumbing connections when needed. We handle loading and haul-away from the outdoor pickup spot.
Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.
