Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

From $40.25 for the King County garbage fee at the Shoreline station, where a load up to 320 pounds costs $40.25 as the minimum and heavier loads are charged $243.38 per ton, with clean wood separated out at a $20.70 minimum and $129.38 per ton. Any customer bringing construction and demolition material to the Shoreline station, with the load sorted before arrival so clean wood and corrugated cardboard go to the recycling areas. Reusable building material in good condition may be accepted at the Second Use collection area outside the station at the discretion of its staff.
When & how
Sort the load, then take it to 2300 N 165th Street during the posted hours. Call ahead on 206-477-4466 if the load includes anything that needs a clearance, and check the Second Use area at the same site for the reusable portion.
Get it ready
Separate clean untreated wood and corrugated cardboard from the mixed debris, keep asbestos, liquids, hazardous material and anything burning out of the load, and secure everything for transport because the county charges an unsecured load fee. Reusable doors, windows, lumber of six feet or longer, cabinets and tools belong with Second Use rather than the garbage bay.
The Shoreline Recycling and Transfer Station at 2300 N 165th Street is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Corrugated cardboard, clean wood, scrap metal and yard waste must be sorted into the recycling areas rather than left in the garbage, the maximum combined vehicle and trailer length is forty feet, and an unsecured load carries a $25 fee.
The Second Use collection area outside the Shoreline station takes reusable interior and exterior doors, vinyl, wood and aluminium-clad windows, lighting without fluorescent or halogen fixtures, lumber six feet or longer and free of hardware, cabinets, tools, and good quality furniture such as seating, tables, dressers and framed mirrors, with acceptance based on a visual check. Hazardous waste, liquids, tanks with compressed gas, treated wood, asbestos and major vehicle parts are refused at the station, and oil-based paints, stains and anything labeled warning, caution or danger go to the North Seattle household hazardous waste site instead.

The station charges by material and weight rather than one flat price: mattress recycling is $30.00 per item, a refrigerant appliance is $30.00 per unit, recyclables are free, clean wood and yard waste carry a $20.70 minimum and $129.38 per ton above 320 pounds, and garbage carries a $40.25 minimum up to 320 pounds and $243.38 per ton above that, with a $25 fee for an unsecured load and a CleanUp LIFT discount of $20 for each type of waste for customers with a ProviderOne, EBT or ORCA LIFT card.
Arrange it
