Bulky trash goes to the curb in one compact pile on the garbage day, while the green cart takes household garbage only. Televisions and monitors go out with that curb trash, ordinary computers and electronics are recycled by appointment, and the 24-hour drop-off center at 356 N Donahue Dr takes everything the curbside recycling cart takes, plus glass separated by color, transistor batteries up to size D, cell phones, cooking grease or oil, and magazines and telephone books. Construction material, dirt, rocks, roofing and hazardous waste never belong in the curb pile; hazardous material goes to one of the two collection days a year at 4277 Wire Road instead.
