The local disposal guide
Auburn collects garbage, trash and recycling itself rather than through a private hauler. The trash route is the bulky service: appliances, furniture, yard material and similar items go in one compact pile at the curb on the same day as garbage, never in the green cart. Televisions and monitors go out with that trash, ordinary computers and electronics are recycled by appointment, and construction material and hazardous waste stay out of the curb pile.
