Household garbage goes into the city's 95 gallon blue cart, bagged, and the cart is placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the collection day, about 4 feet clear of any obstruction such as a vehicle, pole, mailbox or tree. Limbs are cut shorter than four feet and stacked neatly with all the tops facing the same direction, leaves, straw and clippings are bagged or boxed in loads under 50 pounds each, and the bulk pile keeps its own clearance so the truck can reach it.
