The county publishes per item amounts rather than one rate, and they differ by category: electronics and microwaves have no free items and are charged each, furniture and oversized items include two free items a month with a charge for each extra item, refrigerated appliances have no free items and are charged each, and non-refrigerated large appliances and metal items are free with no limit. Household furniture and oversized items, mattresses and box springs, electronics and microwaves, refrigerated appliances, non-refrigerated large appliances, metal items that are at least 90 percent metal, tires from households, and household hazardous materials.

Material generated by the delivering Benton County household only, delivered by a member of the household with government issued photo identification, and staff cannot help unload. No household trash, no building materials of any kind, no yard waste, brush or leaves, no hot tubs, no commercial vehicle loads and nothing from rental properties, farms, churches, schools, non-profits, businesses or agencies. Small appliances, metal fencing and wire, mattress springs and wire, and outdoor air conditioning condensers are refused.

Tuesday through Friday and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., closed 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The district closes on state holidays, some holiday weekends, during severe weather and for staff training, so check the closure notice before a trip.

Households inside the city limits may drop allowed yard waste at the Yard Waste Facility at no charge with government issued photo identification, and curbside pickup uses purchased paper bags scheduled with GFL at 479-878-1384.
