The city publishes the drop-off item list but no fee for e-waste. Confirm the item and any current charge with the Sanitation and Recycling Center at (501) 279-1000 before the trip.
When & how
Take the item to the Searcy Recycling Center at 409 W. Beebe Capps Expressway, open Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, Wednesday 7am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8am to noon.
Get it ready
Wipe or reset anything that stores data, bring the item to the center rather than setting it at the curb, and keep electronics out of the Keep White County Beautiful Day load, because electronics are on that event's refused list.
Furniture, appliances, scrap metal, up to ten regular size tires off the rim, bagged roadside litter and dry-form paint are accepted at Keep White County Beautiful Day, which runs twice a year and requires proof of White County residency. Concrete and masonry, brush and vegetation, chemicals, batteries, electronics, liquid paints and tractor tires are refused, and electronics belong at the Recycling Center instead.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
E-waste including televisions, computers and cameras, plus drop-off recycling for #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a neck, aluminum and tin food and beverage cans, and paper products and cardboard including flattened cardboard and food-free pizza boxes. The center also runs the commercial shredder.
E-waste is brought in and is never collected at the curb. Recycling is open to all White County residents, but butter and whipped topping tubs, auto fluid, pesticide, herbicide and pool chemical bottles, gas cans, wet paint and aerosol cans, construction or dark papers, waxed or frozen food and beverage cartons and wet paper are refused. Keep paper dry and rinse bottles and cans, and leave lids off bottles.

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away.
