The local disposal guide
Searcy runs its own sanitation department at 409 W. Beebe Capps Expressway, with one trash day a week for each ward and a city-issued container that is for household trash only. Furniture, appliances and scrap metal are not cart items: the department collects them at its twice-yearly Keep White County Beautiful Day, and leaves and limbs run on a separate brush truck route and go to the compost center on North Main. Televisions, computers and cameras are taken at the recycling center on Beebe Capps, and they are never collected at the curb.
