Hold the furniture for the next Keep White County Beautiful Day, which the department hosts twice a year, and confirm the date with the office before loading. A large load can instead go into a city roll-off bin rented from the department.
Get it ready
Bring proof of White County residency to the event and keep the load out of the household container, which is for general household trash only. Concrete and masonry, brush and vegetation, chemicals, batteries, electronics and liquid paints are refused at the event, so separate those before the trip.
The container goes out by 6 a.m. and comes in within a day
Containers go to the curb in front of the house no later than 6 a.m. on your ward's collection day, with handles and wheels facing away from the street. They may not go out before 5 p.m. the day before and may not stay at the curb longer than 24 hours after the collection day. One day a week is assigned by ward.
